Calm Classroom Terms And Conditions

Training Registration

1. Registration and Payment


• Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.

• All fees are listed in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes (HST 13%).

• Payment options include E-Transfer, Cheque and Credit Card. An invoice will be provided once registered, for organizations booking privately. Square is available as payment for public cohorts. Reach out directly if needed for more information relating to payment.


2. Course Access and Materials


• Access to course materials, login details, and/or facilitator resources will be provided electronically prior to the start of the training (typically within 48 hours, depending on program requirements).

• Access codes may have time-limited activation windows. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure access is used within the stated timeframe.

• All materials are intended solely for the registered participant or purchasing organization.


3. Minimum Participants (Group Training)


• Certain training sessions require a minimum number of participants to proceed.

• If minimum enrolment is not met, Calm Classroom reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the session.

• In such cases, participants will be offered alternative dates or a full refund.


4. Cancellations and Refunds


• Cancellations received 5 or more days before the scheduled training will be eligible for a 50% refund.

• Cancellations received less than 5 days before the scheduled training are not eligible for a refund.

• No refunds will be issued for non-attendance (“no-shows”).

• Transfer of registration to another participant from the same organization may be permitted upon written request.


5. Training Format and Participation Requirements


• Training may be delivered in-person, online (e.g., Zoom), or in a blended format depending on the program.

• Participants are responsible for ensuring they have access to required technology, including a stable internet connection, appropriate device, and a suitable learning environment for virtual sessions.

• Participants are expected to attend the full duration of the training. Late arrivals or early departures may affect completion eligibility.


6. Participant Expectations


• Calm Classroom is committed to creating inclusive, respectful, and psychologically safe learning environments.

• All participants are expected to engage in a professional and respectful manner.

• Disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the session without refund.


7. Intellectual Property and Copyright


• All course content, materials, frameworks, and resources are the intellectual property of Calm Classroom and/or its licensed partners.

• Some programs may include licensed materials (e.g., from partner organizations or evidence-based curricula).

• Materials are provided for participant use only and may not be copied, shared, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.


8. Privacy and Data Use


• Personal information collected during registration is used solely for course administration, communication, certification (if applicable), and payment processing.

• Calm Classroom complies with applicable Canadian privacy legislation regarding the collection, use, and storage of personal data.


9. Limitation of Liability


• Calm Classroom is not responsible for technical issues, internet disruptions, device failures, or other circumstances beyond its control that may affect participation.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calm Classroom disclaims liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in training.


10. Force Majeure


• Calm Classroom reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify training due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, natural disasters, severe weather, technical failures, or other unforeseen circumstances.


11. Acceptance of Terms


• By completing registration and payment, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
