In today’s fast-paced world, many people live in a constant state of mental overload, emotional stress, and physical tension. Over time, this chronic busyness can lead to burnout, anxiety, fatigue, and disconnection.


Mindfulness for Modern Life is a gentle, practical 8-week course designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and build emotional and mental resilience for everyday living. Through guided mindfulness practices, reflective exercises, and supportive group discussion, you’ll learn how to cultivate greater awareness, calm, focus, and emotional balance — skills that support both personal wellbeing and professional performance.


This course offers a grounded, accessible introduction to mindfulness, blending evidence-informed tools with compassionate teaching

 in a supportive group environment.

Over eight weeks, you’ll explore:

Self-Compassion Reset is an 8-week guided experience designed to help you develop a healthier, kinder, and more supportive relationship with yourself. Through evidence-informed practices, reflection, and compassionate group connection, you’ll learn how to soften self-criticism, regulate difficult emotions, and build emotional resilience from the inside out.

This course offers a safe, nurturing environment for emotional healing, personal insight, and sustainable change.

About Jenn Sims

I believe that true wellbeing begins when we slow down, reconnect, and learn to meet ourselves with greater presence and compassion.

Like many people, my journey into mindfulness and self-compassion began during a time of deep stress, emotional exhaustion, and life transition. 

Juggling the demands of career, family, and personal expectations left me feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from myself. 


Through mindfulness, meditation, and compassionate self-inquiry, I began to experience a profound shift — 

not only in how I handled stress, but in how I related to myself and others.

This personal transformation inspired the creation of Calm Classroom ™  — 

a space dedicated to helping individuals and organizations cultivate emotional resilience, mental clarity, and sustainable wellbeing.


I am a certified mindfulness and mental health facilitator and I specialize in 

delivering mindfulness, self-compassion, and emotional resilience programs for individuals, workplaces, and community groups. 

My approach blends evidence-informed practices with warmth, compassion, and practical tools that can be applied in everyday life.


My teaching philosophy is grounded in accessibility, safety, and real-world integration. I believe mindfulness and self-compassion should feel supportive, not overwhelming — practical, not abstract. My goal is to create learning environments that are welcoming, trauma-informed, and deeply human.


Through Calm Classroom ™ , I offer group courses, corporate workshops, leadership training, and immersive retreats — 

all designed to support individuals and teams in building calm, clarity, and emotional strength in a fast-paced world.
